He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Conover Hale (Conover) and Howard E. Hale, Jr.; his grandson Stephen Scully; his stepfather Arthur Shaw; and his son Dickens.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Hale (Huss); his daughters, Marcy Scully of Milford, NJ, Emilee Brandenburg (Robert) of Fort Worth, TX, Colleen Hale of Quakertown, PA and Elizabeth Hale of Doylestown, PA; his stepdaughters, Micki Allen of Milford, NJ, Melissa Allen of Frenchtown, NJ, Mere Chepolis (Paul) of Easton, PA and Kate Allen (James) of Richmond, CA; his sister Barbara Barbus (Tom) of Cogan Station, PA; his grandchildren, Brandon, Kent, Jake, Taylor, Robert, Jac, Andi and Parker; and his great grandchildren, Jamie Jean, Ivy, Paisley and Stella.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson-Walton Funeral Home (24 Church Rd, Milford, NJ 08848). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Beulah Cemetery (238 Almshouse Rd, New Britain, PA 18901).
