He is survived by: his sons, Warren Frederick "Chip" Patterson II of Charleston and Garth E. Patterson (Michelle) of Jefferson, Maryland; his grandchildren, Isaac Warren and Abigail Ruth Patterson; and his siblings, Laura Flick of Tionesta, Julian A. Patterson and Marcelle P. Hale.
