He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Martz and Viva Martz; his former wife Pauline Alden Martz; his wife Violet Anthony Martz; and his siblings, Arthur, Dan Martz, Ruth and Erma.
He is survived by: his children, Virgina Meitus of Cherrytree, Judy Butts of Oil City, Harry Martz (Barbara) of Erie and Jack Martz (Cheryl) of Erie; his grandchildren, Kim Wagner, Angie Theiss, Jake Martz, Lois Martz, Holly Moyer and Heather Butts; and his great grandchildren, Jaden Wagner and Hunter Wagner. He is also survived by numerous other great grandchildren.
