He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Anna Walbert Keller (Reinert); his children, Amanda L. "Mandy" Eshelman (Jason L. Eshelman) and Shawn D. Walbert; the mother of his children Donna R. Walbert (Hollenbach); his grandchildren, Jayden L. Eshelman and Brianna R. Eshelman; and his sisters, Kathie Miller (Russell Miller), Connie Mayoryk (Steve Mayoryk) and Judy Galle (John Galle).
