She is survived by: her children, Debra Teel of Montrose, PA, Tammy Canfield of New Albany and Michael Pedro of West Virginia; her grandchildren, Joby Teel (Cara) of Odessa, FL, Kassi Fenton (Brian) of Tunkhannock, PA, Scott Canfield of New Albany, PA, Kristi Canfield of Wyalusing, PA, Cody Pedro of New Albany and Ryan Pedro of West Virginia; her sisters, Delores Manahan (Donald) of Monroeton and Beverly Chilson (Paul) of Monroeton, PA; and her siblings-in-law, Norm Benjamin of Towanda, PA and Mary Gardner of Towanda, PA.. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests that contributions be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 57 North Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 in memory of Betty Louise Gardner Pedro.
