Billie Marie Chilson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billie Marie Chilson of Towanda, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Rosencrance and Marian Rosencrance; her brother Juby; her sister-in-law Sally Rosencrance; her nephews, Pete, Patrick and Larry Rosencrance; her aunt Marie Foote; her sister-in-law Peggy Rosencrance; her parents-in-law, Harry and Irene Chilson; her brothers-in-law, James, LaRue, Harry and Richard Chilson; and her granddaughter Amelia Chilson.
She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Chilson; her brother Barry Rosencrance of Asheville, NC; her children, Linda Chilson of Lake Wylie, SC, Barbi Elliott (Lew) of Towanda, PA and Brenda Roberts (Jim) of Towanda, PA; her granddaughter Megan Fairchild of Athens, PA; her children, Mazie Underwood (Sean) of Lake Wylie, SC, Kasey Elliott of Towanda, PA, Darcy, Mitchell Benjamin of Towanda, PA, Cassie Smith (Nate) of Ulster, PA, Alexis Totleben (Bob) of Erie, PA, LeRoy Chilson III (Chelsey) of Erie, PA and Julie McGraw of Chambersburg, PA; her sister-in-law Beverly Dunn; and her friend Mike Sena. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 5:15 PM at the same location.
