It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther M. Bennett (Towanda, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 8, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Esther's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Esther has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Johnson and Mary Vanderpool Johnson; her husband Eugene Bennett; her siblings, Eleanor Vanderpool, Doris Stroud, Catherine Vanderpool, Leona Johnson (Fred), Margaret Johnson (Ralph) and Jack Johnson (Thelma); her brothers-in-law, Gary Bennett and Ronnie Bennett; her close friend Thelia Benjamin; and her nephew Fred Vanderpool. She was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.
