It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Albert Maines of Towanda, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank John Maines and Mary Ellen Johnson Maines; his wife Linda Mae Kunkle Maines; his son Eugene Robert Maines; his siblings, John Maines, Emma Shrimp and Sarah Ackley; and his parents-in-law, Robert W. "Bob" Kunkle and Vina M. Kunkle.
He is survived by : his children, Cindy Rinebold (John) of Towanda, Wendy Collins (Tom) of Ulster and Richard Maines (Sarah) of North Towanda; and his siblings, Frank Maines of Elmira, NY, Lillian Casselbury of Granville, PA, Florence Casselbury of Asylum Township, PA and Marie Hagie of North Carolina. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
