He was predeceased by: his wife Markita; his parents, Hans Heyer and Margret Heyer; and his brother Tom Heyer. He is survived by: his children, Michael Heyer, Christine Spencer (Jerry) and Kris Bush (Mike); his brother Jim Heyer (Dorothy); his friend Pete Fleck; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Ryan, Pepper, Kacie, Becca, Jared Spencer (Felicia), Kristina Kline (Chad), Justin Spencer (Rebekah) and Kendra Lambert (David).
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848).
