He was predeceased by: his parents, James Strickland Stevens and Matie Mae Stevens (Manley); his sister Debbie; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Szabo and Warren Overpeck.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Stevens (Robinson); his son Lance Stevens (Holly); his grandchildren, Hudson, Dempsey and Sloane; his daughter Lynette Stevens (Jason Anthony); his grandchildren, Amari and Daisy; and his sisters, Jennifer Overpeck, Rebecca Stevens and Candy Randall (Mike).
The family suggests that contributions be directed to the Towanda Area School District Education Foundation, 410 State St. Towanda, PA 18848 in memory of James P. Stevens.
