He was loved and cherished by many people including : his father Paul Burgess; his grandfather Billy; his close friends, Warren, Terry Knapp, Liz and John; his wife Judy; his daughter Shaylee Smith; his son-in-law Brian Smith; his granddaughter Elora Smith; his daughters, Kimberly and Nicole; his brother Donald Burgess (Miriam); his aunts, Elaine Engisch and Doris Lewis; his sister-in-law Robin Burgess; his pet Feefur; his son Chad Robert Burgess; his mother Marjorie Chubb Burgess; his brothers, Steve and Bryce Burgess; his niece Renee; his sister Carrie Borgia (Sissy); his grandparents, William and Flora Burgess; and his uncles, Richard Engisch and Raymond Lewis. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
