She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Harbst and Marie Bagley Harbst; and her grandson T. J. Chilson. She is survived by : her husband Wilmer Chilson; her children, Robbie Chilson (Pam) of Kentucky, Terry Chilson (Jody) of Asylum Township, Barbara Ann Middendorf (Russell) of Asylum Township, Dale Chilson, Peggy Chilson of Asylum Township and Amy Stewart of Bellaire, OH; and her siblings, Dan Harbst (Sheila) of Sayre, Nancy Yost (Larry) of Bloomsburg, James Harbst (Maryann) of Sayre, John Harbst (Donna) of Litchfield and Joe Harbst (Vivian) of Sayre.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
