It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Ann Niemiec of Towanda, Pennsylvania, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Sodrosky and Helen Irene Sodrosky (Malshefski). She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Niemiec; her son Michael Niemiec; her daughter-in-law Amy Niemiec (Becker) of Athens, PA; and her grandchildren, Helen and Stephen Niemiec.

The family suggests that contributions may be directed to Child Hunger Outreach Partners, 2 Elizabeth Street, Towanda, PA 18848 or to Saint Agnes School, 102 Third Street, Towanda, PA 18848 in memory of Marlene Ann Niemiec.
