He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Pierce and Mary Louise Pierce (Wall). He is survived by: his wife Carol S. Pierce (Rowe) of Towanda; his brother Dr. John Pierce (Joyce) of Pittsburgh, PA; and his pets, Lily and Sadie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
