He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William "Bill" Sluyter and Laura Sluyter (Sites); his wife Kathy Krause Sluyter; his sons, Jason Sluyter (Erin Hanson) of East Lansing, Jeremy Sluyter (Tara) of Towanda and Justin Sluyter of Towanda; his grandchildren, Rylee, Reese, Kaylen Sluyter, Tristin Arnold and Madi Arnold; and his siblings, Julia Johnson (Erling "Jug") of Towanda, James Sluyter of Towanda, Billy Sluyter (Patty) of Colorado, Nancy Hufford and Rose Mary Cendar.
