We announce the death of Robert Zimmerman of Tower City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 3, 2026. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Robert’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Zimmerman and Beulah Welker Zimmerman; and his siblings, Jack Zimmerman, Betty Morrison and Shirley Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Artz Zimmerman; his children, Donnie Zimmerman (Anita) of Tower City and LeAnn Unger (Kevin Heaney) of Tower City; and his granddaughters, Brooke Unger (Chris) of North Carolina and Laurel Unger (Lauren) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
