He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schopp and Leora Schopp (Hyde); and his brother Don Schopp. He is survived by: his wife Carol Schopp (Fera); his children, Dana Kendall (George), Angie Piper (Jim), Joey Schopp (Rebecca) and Beth DeNillo (Sam); and his siblings, Joan Jepsen (late Francis), Margie Seaman (late Emery) and Melrose Nicely (late Richard). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alfieri Funeral Home, Inc. (201 Marguerite Ave, Wilmerding, PA 15148). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Bible Baptist Church (150 Curry Ave, Turtle Creek, PA 15145). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery (733 Patton St, Monroeville, PA 15146).
