Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Richard will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Laird (Niehl) and Alvin Laird; and his wife Carol B. Laird (Zeravica). He is survived by: his children, Richard J. Laird, Jr. (Sonya) of Penn Township and Lisa C. Laird of Litchfield Park, AZ.; his grandson Matthew Sean Laird of Penn Township; his sister Dorothy L. Laird of Turtle Creek; and his cousin Virginia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Dobrinick Funeral Home, Inc. (702 7th St, Trafford, PA 15085). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Regis Church (517 Homewood Ave, Trafford, PA 15085).
