She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carl and Mabel Kehler Carl; and her husband Lamar Lee Schaeffer, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lamar L. Schaeffer Jr. (Shirley), Stephen M. Schaeffer (Holly), Brian C. Schaeffer (Dorothy Krammes) of Tremont, Elizabeth Bender (Brian) of Joliett and Pamela D. Hindman (Mark) of Tremont; her grandchildren, Tyler, Josh, Jake, Joey, Emily, Ethan and Makenna; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Abigail, Flynt, Lilli, Mazie, Nolan, Lainey, Zachary and Mason.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grabowski Funeral Home (75 Memorial Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Schuylkill Memorial Park (75 Memorial Dr, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972).
