Mitchell; his wife Nicole Hunt-Mitchell; his daughters, Dominique (Sekou Magassouba) and Shamatee Mitchell-Parker (Stephan Parker); his stepsons, Khalil Brooks and Jameson Brooks; his grandchildren, Audi Ember and Autumn Parker; his stepgrandchildren, Elijah Magassouba, Mila Brooks and Kali Brooks; and his siblings, Connie Mitchell-Bates (Robert Bates), James Mitchell, Sr., Harold Mitchell and Willis "Pee Wee" Mitchell. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Center Church (102 Federal St, Bluefield, WV 24701).
