He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Shepler and Vera Shepler (Ellinger); his wife Thelma M. Shepler (Lee); and his siblings, Mary Shaffer, Jack Shepler, Willovene Mills, Mabel Smith, Joan Lott, Imogene and Roy.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Shepler, Kevin Shepler (Melanie) and Jeanne Shepler; and his sister Naomi "Dutch" Pifer (Edward). He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
