Paul left this world on July 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clayton and Charlotte Emma "Lottie" Wertman (Forster); his wife Lois Anne Wertman (Winder); his brother Max; and his cousins, Marlin and VanDorn Wertman Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Bill Wertman of Baltimore, MD, Thomas Wertman of Muncy, Valerie (Fred Simpson) of Troy and Vickie (Gary Ward) of Troy; and his grandchildren, Leah Ward, Emma Simpson, Trevor Ward, Connor Simpson, Braden Ward, Lou Wertman, Jackson Simpson and Lydia Ward.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Andrew Lutheran Church (201 S Main St, Muncy, PA 17756). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Muncy Cemetery (275 E Penn St, Muncy, PA 17756). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church.
