He is survived by: his brother William Johnson Hunter (Gail); his wife Beverly; his children, Daniel G (Billie Jo Lee) and Bobbe Edwards (Christopher); his grandchildren, Nicholas Stein, Mark Colton (Vinnie), Courtnie Hoffman, Joshua Hunter and Daniel Larson; his sisters, Barbara (David Lingle) and Mary Hastings (Geoffrey Snyder); and his siblings' children, Dr. Stephanie Duggan, Kimberly Whitley, Yancey and Gavin H. Snyder.
He was a lifetime member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the NRA.
