It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred L. Schoemig of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Christopher and Cecilia Schoemig (Lurz). He is survived by : his wife Joan Schoemig (Davis) of Blakeslee, PA; his children, Phyllis Guzman of Long Island, NY, Daniel Klohe (Kathleen) of Rockaway Beach, NY, Robert Schoemig (Barbara) of Glendale, NY and Joseph Schoemig (Kristen) of Albrightsville, PA.; his grandchildren, Jimmy, Keith, Jessie, Melissa, Robby, Laura, Natasa, Allison and Piper; his great grandchildren, MariElla, Christopher, Keith, Kaiden, London, Paris and Sienna; and his sister Rosina Schoemig of Germany. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
