He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kendig Sr. and Nellie Kendig; and his siblings, Robert Kendig Jr., Doris Watkins and Florence Marsh.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kendig (Darling); his children, Donald Kendig (Lisa) of Langhorne, PA., Elizabeth Lewis of Langhorne, PA. and Scott Pellinger (Debbie) of Sayre, PA.; his grandchildren, Aidan Lewis of New Haven, CT, Ava Kendig of Langhorne, PA and Nikki Schutt (Tyler) of Waverly, NY.; his great grandchild Delaney Schutt of Waverly, NY.; and his siblings, Donald Kendig (Joan) of Kingston, PA and Barbra Bootier of Tucson, AZ..
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Eatonville United Methodist Church (44 Church Rd, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
