She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Sands and Edma Allshouse Sands; her husband Carl Mickley; her former life partner Nicholas Kordilla; and her siblings, Charlotte Montross Hadsall, Walter Miner, Alphie Miner, Howard Sands, Jr. and Clifford Sands.

She is survived by : her daughters, Ella Kaufman (Kurt) of Tunkhannock and Jill Kuffa (David) of Tunkhannock; and her granddaughters, Dana Kuffa of Tunkhannock and Amanda Kaufman of Tunkhannock. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home Harding Litwin Funeral Home (123 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home (123 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
