In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Genevieve had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Genevieve may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Charles Mullen; and her parents, John Battillo and Sophie Deebold (Kloszewski). She is survived by: her siblings, Meryl Silipigni, John Battillo, Barbara Replogle and Susan Hoeler; and her children, James Ginas and Barbara Costella (James Ginas Sr.). She is also survived by 6 beautiful grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several cherished nieces and nephews along with extended family.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (99 E Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pieta Cemetery. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
