He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Gilpin (Schoonover); his parents, Jabez Gilpin and Mary Gilpin (Headley); and his brothers, Walter, Gary, Robert, Jay and Richard Gilpin.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Gilpin (Michelle) and James Gilpin (Kelly); his siblings, David, Marvin, Melvin, Ralph Gilpin, Joan Dymond and Carol Koons; and his grandchildren, Caleigh and Charlotte Gilpin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
