Merrill Ruth Rogers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merrill Ruth Rogers of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, born in Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 28, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Clapp and Lois Clapp; her son Duane; her former husband Kenneth Austin; and her siblings, Carleton Clapp, Joan Clapp and Anita Mundell.
She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Ken Austin of New York, Gary Austin of Sweet Valley, Randy Austin (Kathy) of Susquehanna County, Darren Austin (Vonda) of Pittsburgh, Keith Austin (Linda) of Sweet Valley and Karen Rossmell (John) of Kingston; and her siblings, Vic Clayson, Maureen Dawson and Mickey Clapp. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
