We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2026, at the age of 67, Michael Loy of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Loy and Barbara Loy (Holub); and his brother-in-law Steven Cuomo. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Loy (Coleman); his stepmother Kathleen Loy; his children, Michael Loy (Ciandra D'Souza) and Mikalyn Cortright (Eric); his siblings, Cheryl Cuomo (Steven), Susie Loy and William Loy; his brothers-in-law, Fred Coleman (Rosemary), Thomas Coleman (Barbara) and Patrick Coleman (Marie); and his grandchildren, Eric Cassellbury, Elijah Cortright and Nevaeh Cortright. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care (73 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunnyside Cemetery (152 Sunnyside Rd, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
