It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Ruth Ayers of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Harold Tarbox and Blanche Ruth Walker; her sister Betty Tarbox Kates; and her son-in-law Francis Howell. She is survived by : her husband Earle "Doc" Ayers; her children, Kim Ayers Howell, Keith Ayers (Vickie) and Kevin Ayers (Karin); and her grandchildren, Megan, Aaron (Ann Marie), Collin Howell, Christopher Ayers, Nathan (Jennifer), Tenleigh (Adam), Tierney (Joey), Reece (Sarah) and Carson Ayers (Rachel). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
