He was predeceased by : his parents, George Milnes and Carmen Milnes (Greene); and his siblings, Thomas, Carl, Gene Milnes and Marcia Platts.

He is survived by : his wife Diane Milnes (Jones); his son Adam Milnes (Julie); his granddaughter Hazel Milnes; and his siblings-in-law, Carole, Marjorie, Ada Milnes, Jacquelyn Lawrence, Susan Jones, Ronald Lawrence and Leo Jones. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
