He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille Hobbes; his parents, R. Orvis Hobbes and Eleanor Hobbes (Ditzler); his sister Janet Konchar (Hobbes); and his granddaughter Heather Burrill.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Hobbes, Jr. (Jill) of Tunkhannock, Rev. Larry Hobbes (Meg) of Chardon, OH, Rev. Wayne Hobbes (Lori) of Allison Park, PA and Glen Hobbes (Vivian) of Salem, VA; and his sister Carol Golden (Hobbes) of Valencia, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
