He was predeceased by: his wife DeAun Mackie Schicktanz; his parents, Sylvester Schicktanz and Anne Schicktanz (Robertson); and his siblings, William Schicktanz and Judy Schicktanz Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Schicktanz (Linda), Bill Schicktanz, Suzanne Schicktanz, Nina Probel (Todd) and Elizabeth Johnston (John). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care (73 W Tioga St, Tunkhannock, PA 18657).
