She was predeceased by : her husband Gifford L. Sands; and her parents, Earl Carpenter and Anna Carpenter. She is survived by : her children, Brenda Cappucci (Joseph) of Mehoopany, Norman of McAllen, TX and Charles (Carol) of Tunkhannock; and her siblings, Arthur, Homer Carpenter and Violet Gable. She is also survived by her children, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
