With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Stelzer of Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, born in Manhattan, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurt Stelzer and Gertrude Stelzer (Kubale); his wife Osue Stelzer (Shige); and his siblings, Astrid Diamond and Hans Stelzer.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Lowcher (Matt) of North Carolina, Barry Stelzer (Lisa) of New York and Donald Stelzer of Tunkhannock; his granddaughter Jessica Lowcher (Chris Hetem) of New Zealand; his great grandchild Caroline Lowcher of North Carolina; his grandchild Ashley Norris (Luke) of North Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Sutton and Amelia.
