He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Barber and Garnet Barber (Boswell); his siblings, Loretta Mosansky, Betty James, Eugene Barber, Doris Bonath, Glenn Barber, Pauline Thompson and Gus Barber; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Panasiti (Szczerba).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo (Panasiti) of Tyrone; his sons, Brandon Barber (Katie) of Pittsburgh and Nathan Barber (Lindsey) of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Maxwell, Eliza, Isla and Lucas; his siblings-in-law, Paulene Barber of Virginia Beach and Steve Panasiti (Monica) of Hollidaysburg; and his pets, Ray and Asha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. (115 W 10th St, Tyrone, PA 16686). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home (115 W 10th St, Tyrone, PA 16686).
