Dorothy McAllister Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy McAllister of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mornes and Jeanetta Mornes; and her daughter-in-law Deborah. She is survived by: her husband James W. McAllister; her sons, Lon (late Deborah) of Homosassa, FL, Robert (Gwen) of Tyrone, PA and John (Colleen) of Levittown, PA.; and her grandchildren, Andrea Cranmer (Eric), Barbara McAllister (Pauline), Celeste Joseph (Scott), Samantha McAllister, Meghan Mohran (Samuel), James McAllister and Heather McAllister (Kohl Campbell). She is also survived by six Great-grandchildren and five Great-great-grandchildren.
