She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen L. Wolfhope and Martha E. Wolfhope (Fisher); her husband Wendell Wrye of Tyrone; and her siblings, Eugene, Paul, Roy, Phillip Wolfhope, Florence Abrams, Irene Andes, Mary Jane Parker Hoffman and Geogia Conrad.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Wrye (Suzanne) of State College, PA and Stephen Wrye (Debbie) of Flintstone, MD; her grandsons, Nathan Wrye (Tori) of Media, PA and Luke Wrye of Tyrone; her stepgrandchildren, Marshall Wright (Shennen) and Jennifer Paul (Ian); and her pet Snuggles. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Noon. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. (115 W 10th St, Tyrone, PA 16686).
