She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ellis Sr. and Alma Kathryn Updyke (Black); her grandson Tobias Mac Carper; and her siblings, Jack, Kate, Marylou, Bill, Pat and Jim Supina.

She is survived by: her children, Herman Mac "Macky" Carper Jr., Roberta "Boo" Kathryn Ewing and Faith Elizabeth Carper; and her siblings, Linda Phillips (Don), Vickie Bridges, Edward Updyke (Nancy), Samuel Updyke, Robert Supina (Marie) and Susan Gonsalez (John). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Contributions in Mim's memory may be made in care of the family to the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home, Inc. 115 W 10th St. Tyrone, PA 16686.
