With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis R. Howard of Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Phyllis, born on October 14, 1931, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Phyllis for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Phyllis’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey W Bretz and Hazel I Bretz (Beamer). She is survived by: her son Jeffrey (Heidi Berkey); her grandson Justin Howard; and her sister Delores Durham (Charles). She is also survived by her sister, daughter in law, and multiple niece.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spring Mount Church of the Brethren (1690 Ridge Rd, Warriors Mark, PA 16877). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
