He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Blair and Betty Emma Hostler (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Bogart); his children, Robert, Jr. (Amanda) and Jocelyn Dost (Adam); his grandsons, Joshua, Isaac, Ethan and Devin; and his siblings, Bernard Hostler, Richard Miller, Kalen Miller, Daryl Hostler, Bernardine Estep and Deanna Parks.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Northwood Baptist Chapel.
