He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin "Jack" Patton and Effie Patton (Estep); and his siblings, Lloyd "Butch" Patton, Jack Patton, Donna Matts and Deborah Ogershok.

He is survived by: his wife Betsy Patton (Androski); his sister Julia Baxter; his nephew Steve Patton (Deb); his granddaughter Faith Patton Hugney (Brandon); and his pet Jack.
