He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman G. Scott and Alice M. Scott (Firmstone); his wife Mary E. Bowman; his son Sherman Scott; and his sisters, Minerva Duke and Sally Gustafson.
He is survived by: his sons, James W. Scott (Liz) of Glasgow and R. Lynn Scott (Janey) of Coalport; his grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Justin and Kaitlin; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Lochlann; and his sister Theresa A. Bougher of Utahville.
