Virginia McNelis Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia McNelis of Tyrone, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nial Holly and Martha Holly (Hopkins); her husband Eugene J. "Bam" McNelis; and her sisters, Louise Kahler, Marie Kilmartin and Jeanne Miller.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nila Woomer (Gary) and Virginia "Jenny" Snare; and her granddaughter Corinne D. Otis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Feller Memorial (817 W 15th St, Tyrone, PA 16686). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
