He is survived by: his father Warren A Bates Sr. of North Carolina; his wife Mary Lynn Bates; and his children, Warren Bates III of Harrisburg, Kristin Bates of Harrisburg, Karen Brown of Telford, Sherri Croftcheck of Carlisle, Denise Uzupis of Dillsburg and Sandra Hollowell of Landisburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.
