He is survived by : his wife Terri L. Bretherton; his children, Duann Piotrowski (Rich) of Erie, Codie Irwin (Joe) of Greenfield Township and Jeremy J. Mercer of Union City; his granddaughter Brynlee Irwin; and his siblings, Laurie Swart (Jim) of Sugarcreek, Debbie Woodworth (Rob) of Elgin, Dan Mercer (Bev) of Elgin, Mike Mercer (Tina) of Erie and John Mercer (Lynette) of Dunn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jerry's memory to an organization of the donor's choice.
