He is survived by: his wife Joan Doherty Samuel; his children, Haydn Duffy Samuel (Krysta) and Bryn Samuel (Andrew Brewin); his granddaughters, Piper Brewin and Harper Samuel; his sisters, Mary Samuel Osterman and Karen Samuel Fleischer (David); and his in-laws, Mari, John Doherty, Connie, Michael Dinning, Eileen Doherty-Fuller, Ann Kearney, Bill Coleman, Beth, Lewis Ting and Edwin Doherty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
