Charlene A. Casteel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene A. Casteel of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Casteel and Agnes Casteel (Franklin); and her siblings, Deborah Schartiger, Larry Casteel and Richard Franklin.
She is survived by: her close friend Charles Dean; her children, Connie Casteel, Ronald Gaylor of Smithfield, PA, Earl Robert Casteel of McClellandtown, PA, Charles Dean Jr. of Uniontown, PA, Charlene Bell of Uniontown, PA, Samuel Dean of Uniontown, PA, Christopher Dean of Uniontown, PA, Stanley Dean of Uniontown, PA and Carl Dean of Uniontown, PA; her grandchildren, Myra, Dylan, Cameron Gaylor, Joshua Casteel, David, Noah, Richard Bell and Gregory Dean; her great grandchild Jaxson Dean; and her sister Dora Jane Moser of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory Uniontown & Pittsburgh Chapel (65 N Gallatin Ave, Uniontown, PA 15401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Charlene directly to the funeral home.
