He is survived by: his wife Alfreda Marhefka (Brownfield); his child Leslie Dempsey (David) of Chicago, IL.; his grandchildren, Sophia, Eva, Juliet Dempsey of Chicago, IL., Trey Speight (Ashlynn) of Bethlehem, GA and Precious; his great grandchild Lizzie Speight; and his in-laws, Bruce, Patti Sterling of Uniontown and John Brownfield of Greensburg. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
